Presentation
This youth serum, rich in vitamins A and C, contains a unique selection of organic rosehip extracts and organic oils . This luxurious cocktail stimulates collagen production , hydrates your skin while reducing sun damage, scars , fine lines and acne .
The Rose in all its states
This serum is not "just" a rosehip oil. It is a unique blend of three oils derived from wild roses Rosa Canina And Rosa Rubiginosa .
It contains 3 important ingredients:
- Cold-pressed Chilean Rosehip Seed Oil: This is made in small batches just for MAIWE from freshly harvested rosehips
- extracted from the rosehip seed by super-critical CO2 extraction , an advanced technique, practiced in Germany, which allows to preserve and restore all the properties of the plant in their purest state.
- extracts of the rosehip fruit by super-critical CO2 extraction , particularly rich in vitamins.
All ingredients are certified organic.

Not all rosehips have the same molecular composition. Indeed, rosehips are the fruits of rose bushes, but there are many varieties of roses.
In Chile, Rosa rubiginosa and Rosa canina are the main species, which grow wild. They both contain a high content of essential fatty acids, especially trans-retinoic acid. Rosa rubiginosa has a slightly different composition, growing at higher altitudes in the Andes.
Trans-retinoic acid converts into vitamin A upon contact with the skin. This natural active ingredient is what makes fresh rosehip seed oil famous and why it is so effective at restoring and regenerating scar tissue and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Its (many) properties
- Linoleic acid has anti-inflammatory qualities, blocks environmental pollution and clears acne
- Alpha-linolenic acid is another great anti-inflammatory and helps smooth skin.
- Gamma-linolenic acid keeps it hydrated and fights skin aging.
- Omega 9 makes it soft and elastic and stimulates the renewal and repair of skin cells.
- Vitamins C, B1, B2, B3 and K: They prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, brighten the skin and fight free radicals.
