Enzymes : Mushrooms use an incredible array of enzymes to biodegrade stubborn organic matter. A forest mushroom from Japan called Mucor Miehei produces an enzyme called Actizyme. Scientists have discovered that it closely mimics the enzymes produced by human skin to stimulate renewal. Actizyme even adjusts its pH to match that of the skin. The result is a gentle exfoliation of old skin cells without the irritation caused by harsher exfoliating agents.

In its formulations, Adaptology uses low molecular weight hyaluronic acid to plump the skin and smooth wrinkles. As well as very low molecular weight hyaluronic acid to penetrate deeper into the skin
