Vitamin C is great for helping skin fight free radicals. but it is water soluble. Whereas skin is 50% oil. So if you apply vitamin C to the skin, very little is absorbed. That is why Adaptology uses vitamin C-Tetra, the oil-based form of vitamin C that improves skin radiance without irritation. It is made by combining vitamin C with a long-chain fatty acid. Result. It is easily absorbed deep into the skin.
- Originating from the far north, Arctic sea buckthorn is a bright orange berry that grows in coastal regions of Eurasia, from the Atlantic to China. It thrives in salty, arid terrain where other plants cannot compete. This plant is widely used in traditional medicine, and it is no wonder because it is rich in antioxidants, omega 3, omega 7, as well as 12 times more vitamin C than oranges and more beta-carotene than carrots.

Adaptology uses a variety from the high Andes where adaptation to UV and cold makes these plants particularly resistant and their protective properties all the more powerful. Rosehip oil is rich in bio-retinol which slows down skin aging, as well as omega 3.
