Bakuchiol : Skin aging can be triggered by UV light (“photoaging”). High-altitude flowers can help. Bakuchiol is extracted from the seeds of Babchi , a hardy purple flower native to the Himalayas, where air is thin and UV rays are strong. This plant has evolved self-protective antioxidants to adapt and thrive in these conditions and has been used in Chinese medicine for millennia. Bakuchiol offers an alternative to retinol that avoids irritation for sensitive skin. It helps reduce the appearance of blemishes while improving multiple signs of aging, including wrinkles and skin redness.
- There niacinamide is needed by the skin to make several enzymes (NAD+ and NADP) that are used in reactions that repair damage, make new cells, and function healthily. Niacin is obtained from B-vitamin-rich foods like tuna, peanuts, and avocado, but the body doesn’t store it, so we need fresh produce every day. Niacinamide provides natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant protection. When applied to the skin, it can also increase the production of ceramides, the lipids that form the skin’s protective barrier. Because it’s a building block of healthy skin, niacin has benefits for clearing blemishes, minimizing enlarged pores, smoothing wrinkles, improving uneven skin tone, and diminishing dullness.

Salicylic acid improves skin cell turnover, resulting in an overall improvement in skin smoothness, as well as a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It has been clinically proven to have antimicrobial properties and stimulate cell turnover. Salicylic acid from willow bark is also non-irritating compared to synthetic salicylic acid.
Apply gently to cleansed face and neck. Follow with your moisturizer or another serum.
