Adaptogens, what exactly are they?

Adaptogens are natural active ingredients that regulate the body. They are plants, roots, herbs and mushrooms that help to:

• improve resistance to stress
• improve the concentration
• regulate the immune system and improve mood or reduce anxiety
• reduce the fatigue

We call them adaptogens because they "adapt" to the state of the organism and can stimulate or calm it depending on needs.

They have been known and used for thousands of years in traditional medicines.

Some of the most famous adaptogens include: ginseng, ashwaganda, shiitake mushrooms, turmeric, sea buckthorn (and other rosehips, wild rose, etc.).
