This cleansing balm is designed with an oil base to gently cleanse dry skin. Rich in adaptogens to improve elasticity and reduce redness (Arctic Sea Buckthorn), promote cell renewal (High Altitude Rosehip Oil) and gently exfoliate (Papaya Enzymes).

Papaya Enzymes : Papaya is native to the rainforests of Central America. In these scorching conditions, papaya has developed an antimicrobial enzyme called papain. This is very effective at breaking down large proteins. When applied to the skin, the same fruit enzymes dissolve the bonds that stick dead skin cells to the surface. They act as an exfoliant immediately without rubbing or scrubbing and are therefore recommended for exfoliating sensitive skin. This stimulates the skin's cell turnover cycle. Results ? Papaya enzymes stimulate cell turnover and reduce pore congestion. They exfoliate the skin without causing signs of irritation and help reveal healthy skin.

Adaptology uses a variety from the high Andes where adaptation to UV and cold makes these plants particularly resistant and their protective properties all the more powerful. Rosehip oil is rich in bio-retinol which slows down skin aging, as well as omega 3.

Originating from the Far North, Arctic sea buckthorn is a bright orange berry that grows in coastal regions of Eurasia, from the Atlantic to China. It thrives in salty, arid terrain where other plants cannot compete. This plant is widely used in traditional medicine, and it is no wonder because it is rich in antioxidants, omega 3, omega 7, as well as 12 times more vitamin C than oranges and more beta-carotene than carrots.
Sea buckthorn oil has multiple benefits for the skin: it moisturizes, strengthens elasticity and reduces redness and roughness.
